Dear Ms. Muster,

for as long as I can remember, it has been my wish to work with children. Therefore, my decision to become a nanny was made very early on. At your educational institution, I am particularly interested in the courses offered, the mentoring program and your focus on social inclusion. I am convinced that an apprenticeship with you is the perfect first step into professional life for me.

I am currently attending the Albert Einstein Secondary School, which I will graduate with the Mittlere Reife this August. Last year, I completed an internship in a daycare center. There I gained an insight into the everyday work of a nanny and assisted in the care and nursing of the children. Through my communicative and empathetic manner, I immediately built up a relationship of trust with the children. I also contributed my own ideas to the development of educational projects. In my free time, I regularly look after my neighbors' four-year-old daughter. The parents praised me very much for my commitment and patience.

I am highly motivated to acquire the theoretical knowledge for this exciting profession at your vocational school. I am also looking forward to gaining new experience that will be useful to me for the practical training in the daycare center. I would be happy to convince you even more of me during a personal interview.
